About Us
Part of the Bethel Care Group family of Home Plus facilities, Rosewood House was created for one purpose – to offer an alternative to nursing home placement for residents with a focus on Memory Care. With a vision of allowing the elderly to age in the peaceful environment of their own home, Bethel Care Group has served countless families over the last 16 years. With more than 55 years of combined nursing experience, Rosewood House residents have become their family.

Nestled in a beautiful old neighborhood in east Wichita, Rosewood House is home to our residents. We believe that allowing your loved one to live in a residential care home setting removes the disconnected anxiety that many experience in a traditional nursing home setting that can increase symptoms of memory loss. At Rosewood House, we are able to provide a full-range of long-term Memory Care needs and create an individualized care plan for each resident that centers around their needs and desires. Caring for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s requires specially trained staff that aren’t widely available in a lot of senior care facilities. Rosewood House specializes in dementia care offering:
24-hour Care
Provided by qualified, dementia trained and engaged certified staff, our staff complete 40 hours of specialized training on caring for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. In addition, all Rosewood House staff have on-going training and education quarterly and annually that focuses on the latest information for Memory Care
Licensed Nurses
Specializing in long-term Memory Care our licensed nurses oversee the operation of Rosewood House ensuring the highest quality of care possible.
Personalized Care
Each resident receives a personalized care plan that accounts for their current medical needs, interests and emotional needs.
Home-cooked Meals
3 nutritionally balanced meals and snacks are provided daily, and we are able to accommodate medical dietary restrictions. Shared meals help keep residents engaged and provides another opportunity to connect and communicate.
Activities
Planned social activities and visitors keep residents engaged and happy, reducing the need for some stress-alleviating medications. Activities outside of the home are available as appropriate.
Stimulation and Engagement
In the early stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s, mentally stimulating activities can help to slow the progression of the disease and symptoms. Rosewood House is committed to ensuring that athoughtfully planned program of stimulating activities and engagement are included in the personal care plan for each resident.
